Krypsis is a complete vault for the things you’d rather keep to yourself. Capture, import, organize, back up — and, if you want it, sync between your own devices. All of it encrypted with a key only you have.
Private camera
Capture photos and video straight into your encrypted vault. They never touch your iOS Photos library, so there’s nothing to find outside Krypsis.
Private gallery
Import photos and videos from your library into the vault. You choose whether to delete the originals afterwards — Krypsis never decides that for you.
Albums
Organize vault content however makes sense to you. Group by trip, by person, by project — albums stay encrypted alongside everything else.
Documents
Store PDFs, scans, and any file alongside your photos. Passports, contracts, receipts — the things you don’t want sitting in a Files app folder.
Encrypted backup
Export your full vault to a portable, encrypted .vaultbak file that you control. Restore it on a new device whenever you want. Backups are free on every tier.
Decoy vault
Set up a second vault with its own PIN. Anyone who compels you to open Krypsis sees only the decoy — the real vault stays invisible on your device.
Live Photos that stay alive
Import a Live Photo and it keeps its motion. Press and hold to play it back, pinch to zoom in — the still and its video are both encrypted in the vault, as one item.
Optional iCloud Sync
Turn it on and your vault follows you between your own devices, still end-to-end encrypted and stored in your own iCloud rather than on our servers — we don’t run any. It’s off by default, and your decoy vault never syncs.
